Connect the video to the unit
Confirm the development, building and unit and request a reasonable continuous route from the entrance into the home. Avoid filming neighbours or exposing entry codes. A live or recent continuous viewing is easier to interpret than undated promotional clips.
Check your own needs
View room connections, window direction, storage and actual furniture. Request normal demonstrations of relevant equipment, such as starting the air conditioning or checking water and drainage. Do not ask for unsafe tests. Arrange another time if light or noise is important. Camera and microphone settings affect impressions, so a video cannot fully reproduce an in-person visit.
Record material differences
List visible faults, missing items and promised repairs for confirmation in the lease or handover inventory. Furniture shown in a video is not automatically included. If an unresolved issue would change your decision, arrange an appropriate local viewing or delay payment. Verify letting authority and the payment account separately.
Before sending payment, read Verify a Rental Payment Account.
